ST. FRANCIS
CENTER:
Every month, Trinity Mechanical employees help to serve the homeless at the St. Francis Center in downtown Denver. Every fourth Wednesday of the month, Trinity send approximately 4 or 5 employee volunteers to a local church during normal business hours to help prepare a full soup & salad meal from scratch. Food is donated from local area stores and supermarkets and prepared in the morning at a downtown church kitchen. During their lunch break the employees then join Reagan or Bruce for lunch and fun conversation and an opportunity to share ideas for company improvements. At approximately 2 p.m. we then head to the St. Francis Center to serve the newly prepared lunch to the homeless of our community before heading home for the day.
The St. Francis Center was established in 1983 by the Episcopal Church in response to the increasing number of people who are homeless. The Center is a refuge for homeless men & women and provides services such as full time workers, a nurse mental health counselor and employment assistance. Their goal is to provide services with dignity and respect to all while welcoming people of all religious or political affiliation.
We are truly privileged to have the opportunity and blessing to be able to serve.
